I'm Back...

Ok, I know I haven't written in quite a while. There are several reasons for that. The main one being that I spent two and a half weeks straight being a total snot box! I swear, if I could come up with a commercial use for snot, I'd make millions. It is absolutely amazing how much mucous one person can produce.
Being sick also impacted my exercise schedule. In the morning I was at my worst and not motivated at all to go to the gym. Then as I started feeling better I was just  lazy. It is so easy to fall back into unhealthy habits quickly. Let's face it, NOT going to the gym is much easier than getting up and actually going.
My food choices have also deteriorated. Until my healthy decisions become real habits, it seems that I am apt to revert back to my old way of doing things. And those ways led me to be in the predicament I am currently in. Fat, tired and unhealthy!
I haven't gained weight back but also have not lost any additional weight over the past two weeks or so. It irritates me that I wasted more time I could have spent building better health habits. But I can't change it now...I can only move forward.
So what is my plan you ask? I plan to get up in the morning and go to the Y for my workout. I plan to eat small portions of healthy food every 2-3 hours throughout the day. I plan to drink water...lots of water. I plan to track everything I eat. And I plan to quit kicking myself in the butt for making mistakes.
